Milan-based fashion and design journalist JJ Martin – also the founder of the well-applauded online shopping site LaDoubleJ.com – presented the first-ever pop-up installation at the Salone del Mobile furniture fair.
Whilst giving a new life to old vintage clothes with modern force online, the entrepreneur joined force with the architect Luca Cipelletti for a huge flexible shelving system dubbed Wunderwall to showcase the website’s pieces. With pieces from the Anna Piaggi archieve, design objects from the WallpaperSTORE* and painted vessels from Liselotte Watkins, the premiere of the fashion items made a great muse. With a sphere that gangs up artists, architects and designers throughout Milan, the event was definitely a catalyst in forming a La Double J community!
Milan dwellers, this is a must-see art exhibition!
