Anouska Beckwith, founder of the collective „World Wide Women“, which promotes the female empowerment through creativity, is the best example of a powerful female artist herself.
Opening her fourth solo project this week at Saatchi Gallery, London, Beckwith is driven by her search for the mystical Expressing herself through photography and filming, nature and feminity are returning themes while Beckwith’s work inspires a romantic and out-of-this world feel.
Often her photography communicates a world of dramatic beauty, the ethereal and make us recall the paintings of the Romantics and early Surrealist photography fused with a breeze of hippie-vibes.
