The French luxury house Louis Vuitton has released 30 Ruben Toledo’s limited edition portfolios featuring the artist’s idiosyncratic illustrations of cityscapes. Each portfolio is numbered and signed, comprised of 15 drawings printed on pure cotton paper, and a monograph which includes 108 illustrations by Toledo for Louis Vuitton’s city guides from 2000 to 2012.

Ruben Toledo, the genius behind the collection, fled Cuba with his family to the United States in the 60s before he was discovered by Andy Warhol and Keith Haring. His whimsy silhouettes of cities and fashionable girls have opened up his prolific career, ranging from creating illustrations for Vogue and The New York Times to stage set for Broadway productions.

Sadly, there are only 30 editions published, and are only available to pre-order in selected Louis Vuitton stores for $9,000. However if you want a piece of Toledo, here is Louis Vuitton’s 100 city guide postcards by the artist.
