To promote Kanye West’s Yeezy Season 6, the rapper enlisted a series of models – including Kim Kardashian, Paris Hilton and Jordyn Woods – to wear his streetwear. All the photos are paparazzi-style (Balencigia followed suit) but now these face-on flash photos immortalized in paint by New Jersey-born artist Kacper Abolik. The paintings sho Kim getting coffees, wearing oversized coats and is marked by her trademark blonde hair. The artist has previously made a painting of A$AP Rocky wearing a Dior coat, which was spotted by Robert Gallardo, the creative director of AWGE, who helped commission Abolik to do a collaboration with GUESS. Abolik is also collaborating with Dior and J.W. Anderson. “I consider myself a royal court painter,” said the artist in a recent interview. “Rocky is a phantom prince of pop culture, so it was nothing to think about. It had to happen”
